DV MRT (Domestic Violence Moral Reconation Therapy)
DV MRT - Domestic Violence Moral Reconation Therapy - is a cognitive-behavioral educational approach that confronts batterer's beliefs and behaviors especially focusing on power and control issues. DV MRT uses a step-by-step treatment strategy designed to enhance self-image, promote growth of a positive, productive identity, and facilitate the development of higher stages of moral reasoning.
DV MRT (Domestic Violence Moral Reconation Therapy) is a 24 week (minumum - depending on participant progress) program which meets in a group setting once per week. Groups are held each Tuesday for an hour and a half.
